Sewists of Melbourne, you need to check out this hidden gem. Great basic fabrics, together with higher end fashion, evening and stretch fabric. Cheaper than other well known craft stores, and also have a wide haberdashery range (heaps of buttons, zips, trims, cotton). Staff are sewists so know what they're talking about, and are helpful and nice.
