Machine Servicing

Details

We've partnered with a wonderful company who offers a full service of your sewing machines and overlockers. Most makes and models are serviceable, as long as they are domestic machines. 

Just bring your machine to either of the Darn Cheap Fabrics stores in Glen Huntly or Fitzroy, and don’t forget your power cord and foot control. We charge a flat fee of $190 for a full service, paid in-store at the time of drop-off. The turnaround time is between 3-4 weeks, and we will contact you once your machine is back in-store ready to collect.

The mechanic will contact you if the machine requires any parts or further work more than the usual service. If you opt in for these parts or repairs including further cost, the outstanding sum will be paid upon pickup.
